Thanks, Kevin. Some might say I’m in denial with what I’m about to say next, but my HD DVD player being one third the price of any Blu-ray equivalent makes me feel like I haven’t thrown away too much money (it still works as a nice upconvert DVD player). If online/downloadable movies do win over any physical format, I’m glad I picked the cheaper one!

I heard about this this morning and thought of you. I’m honestly surprised Netflix took sides so early. I, too, am hoping for some comprehensive (and Mac-able) streaming by year’s end. It’d give me a reason to get on board.
